Do I have to use one of your designs? No. Any design options that we show you are merely thought starters to assist clients who have no idea what they want.
You can ask for one of these to be adapted for you, give us your own design to replicate, or allow us to work with you to come up with a design that is unique to you.

What if I want one of your websites but with some added or different features? Most of our websites allow for pre-developed add-ons to be purchased at a nominal cost. If you however require a function added on that we have not already developed, we will do a custom add-on for you at a reasonable price.

If I want one of your websites, but with less features, is it cheaper?
Unfortunately not. All of our CMS Series websites already have their basic functionalities built-in, which is why we are able to offer them at extremely competitive prices. In addition, most features can be switched on or off from the admin area, allowing you to disable a function yourself should you decide that you do not want to use it.
The alternative would be for us to build you a simpler version from scratch, which would in fact work out more expensive in almost all cases.

How long does it take to complete one of these sites?
It depends on the site, your design requirements and our workload at the time. In general however, a simple Pro-Shop or Pro-Site website can be completed within 5-10 days (sometimes less), while more complex sites can take up to 4 weeks to complete. Custom-built applications will take longer, but we do include timing in all our custom quotes so that you know up-front what to expect.

How many pages of content can I have on one of these sites?
As many as you wish because you can create countless pages at will from your admin area.

What if I want to add more pages in future?
This is very easy for you to do from the admin area of your website. There is therefore no reliance on a webmaster, nor is there any additional cost attached to adding more pages.

Do I have to host my website with you?
While it makes our lives easier if you do, there is no stipulation that you must. You can host with any hosting provider that offers Linux servers and meets the specifications.

What if I want more than one website - is there a discount?
In most cases the answer to this is no. The exception would be if you want identical websites with minimal difference between them. In this case, speak to us - a discount may apply for the second and subsequent websites. We unfortunately cannot state an absolute "yes" in this instance because there are variables that have an influence on our time and therefore the cost.

What happens if I give you my design and after you have done it, I decide that I want a different design?
Our terms and conditions cover this. We allow for one redesign at no cost. If you are still not happy and want us to do it again after that, there will be a fee involved for our time.

If I give you a design that I have already had created and ask you to replicate it, is there a discount?
Unfortunately not. This is for 2 reasons: 1) We do not charge for the design of a CMS Series website in the first place, and, 2) It very often takes us a lot longer to replicate someone else's design than to create our own.
Please bear in mind that to create a design involves a fair amount of coding and is not just a matter of "copying a picture".

What are the terms of payment?
On all our websites and applications we require a confirmation deposit of 50% before we commence work. The balance is payable on completion.

What happens if I find problems in the site after I have paid for it? Firstly, we provide you with up to 3 weeks to test and check the site functionality once it is created. This allows for tweaks and any fixes that may be needed. Only once it is all working is it considered completed.
If you pay the final invoice within 5 days of receipt, we also provide 60 days free support from date of invoice. In this time, we will do minor tweaks and adjustments as required because we know that you often only realise something once you are actually working with it, rather than doing mock tests.
However, if there is an actual glitch in the coding (an existing function is not doing what it is meant to), then support is unlimited and we will obviously resolve the issue as fast as possible, at no additional cost.

Will you help me if I get stuck with managing my content?
Absolutely. Your content management website comes with inbuilt help files that are written in the simplest possible way. We are also only a phone call or email away if you are battling with any admin function. Occassionally we have clients who are somewhat technophobic, who still have difficulties. In a case like this clients are invited to come and spend a few hours in our offices, where we will take you through the processes practically.

Can I manage all the content on one of these websites?
Yes you can. You can add, edit and delete all page content. Our system also allows you to switch certain functions on or off from the admin area, which means that you can stop them from appearing on your site should you choose to.

Can I change the design of the website myself? Yes you can, BUT for this you will need at least a good knowledge of html and css. Depending on the extent to which you want to change the desing, you might need PHP skills as well.
Essentially the design is however not part of the "content", which is why the Content Management functionality via your admin area does not include design elements, but is limited to actual content.

Who owns the website?
As soon as we have received full payment for the site, you own it 100%. Until that time, the website or application remains our property.

Do I get a copy of my website?
You have full access to a control panel where you are able to take a complete copy of the site direct to your computer. While hosting with us, you are able to take backups of your site and database as often as you wish and we encourage clients to do this.

Do I upload the website or do you?
We do. The installation of the website is part of what you are paying us to do.

What kind of support do you offer?
We offer full support on any website or application that we have developed, provided that no other developer has worked on the coding as well. This support is unlimited if you are hosted on our servers.
Should the you be hosting elsewhere, the support may incur an additional cost, based on our hourly rate. The reason for this is that support issues that arise on other servers normally relate to server settings that have been altered. This makes our job a lot harder and can take up a lot of our time with trying to get answers from server technicians so that we know what needs to be adapted and how.

Are there any hidden costs? None. The total of all costs involved are as follows:
- Domain registration and renewal - if you do not yet have a domain name, then this needs to be registered, which we can do for you. This is a minimal annual fee. At the time of writing, we charge R150 per annum for a co.za domain name.
- Website / Application - this is the one-off cost that is quoted on our website or to you in a private quote. If you want one of our CMS Series websites, the cost is what is displayed on the site, unless you want major modifications to functions or want to add-on functions that are not included in the price. In this case we will give you an accurate quote and that will be the total cost.
- Monthly hosting fee - this will vary, depending on who you host with, but assuming that you host through us, the cost of this is from R95 per month.
There are no additional hidden costs.

I only want a small and simple website, would one of your CMS Series websites still be a good option?
Possibly. It depends on a few factors. Do you want to be able to manage your own content? Is there a chance that you would want to add more content to your site in the future? Does your content or any part of it change on a regular basis?
If you answer to any of these questions is "yes" then the CMS Series might still be the better option for you. - Probably the Pro-Start option.
When you depend on someone else to make changes or add new content to your website, two things happen - you most often end up having to wait in the "queue" for your changes to be made and, secondly, it will cost you for your webmaster's time.
With a Content Management website, you are completely in control and can change or add content whenever you wish, plus it will cost you nothing to do so.

We are strongly opposed to hard-selling or over-selling, because we know that business is about trust and building relationships. This means our appraisals and advice are always completely honest and in your ebst interests, even if it means we lose a sale.

I am an HTML web designer and would like to resell your CMS Series sites as my own. How would this work? This depends on various factors relating to exactly what you have in mind. For example, would you be doing all the design and installation (just using our backbone), or would you want us to do it for you? Would you be prepared to have our very unobtrusive branding at the bottom of the website or would you want it to be completely rebranded as your own (with no mention of us at all)?
The answers to these questions will determine exactly what sort of arrangment and pricing we would be looking at.
We do currently have various resellers, with different arrangements, so we are fairly flexible in our approach to resellers. Please give us a call and let's see what would work best in your situation.
